Kelvin Ofori Junior, popularly known as Kelvin Parker is the 19th SRC President elect of the University of Mines and Technology based on results of choices that were made by students at the election that took place on the 28th of February 2025. Kelvin Parker is a Final year Level 400 Geological Engineering student, and well known for his relentless support to students in all aspects of their academic affairs. This may have just been one of the reasons for his massive victory over the five other contenders, who were all as good to lead as a any. SRID UMaT, GETS IT'S FIRST SRC PRESIDENT

Albert Owusu Jarchie becomes the first ever SRID SRC President elect.  The school of Rails and Infrastructural Development is a side campus to the the University of Mines and Technology, situated at Essicado, Takoradi. Following complaints concerning the poor representation of the SRC on this campus, the school finally decided to allow the students at SRID to make their choice of a SRC President, as a representative of the Main. SRID elections Fast forward, the election took place on the 28th of February 2025 and below was the results including results for other executive positions at SRID.

The University of mines and technology recently went to polls to elect leaders into the various Offices of the SRC President, Financial Secretary and Treasurer, Local NUGS President, and other executive offices of both the SRC and NUGS concerned. This election had been a long anticipated one, since it had been called off a couple of times before finally taking effect. It was initially set to occur in October last year, but was called off amidst controversy over vetting results. The election was then fixed to take place in the mid weeks of January, however was postponed again to the 14th of February 2025. Again this date was not feasible, as the school had to inaugurate first year students in other to grant them the full rights to exercise their choice.
